Monthly Bills

The Monthly Bills screen is where you track your recurring monthly bills and expenses — rent, utilities, subscriptions, and any other cost that comes around every month. It gives you one place to see what’s due, when, and how much you’re scheduled to pay this month. This guide walks through reading the list, choosing a month, adding and editing a bill, and marking a month paid.

The top of the screen is a totals strip for the month you’re viewing:

  • Scheduled this month — the combined amount of every bill scheduled to come due in the selected month.
  • Active bills — how many recurring bills you’re currently tracking.

Use these to see your recurring outgoings for the month at a glance.

A month filter lets you pick which month the totals and the paid markers reflect. Change it to look ahead at what’s coming or back at what was due. The list always shows your recurring bills; the month you choose decides which month’s due dates and paid status are shown.

The table is one row per bill with:

  • Bill — the name of the bill.
  • Vendor — who it’s paid to.
  • Amount — the recurring amount.
  • Next due — the next date this bill comes due.
  • Status — whether this month’s bill is marked paid, or a Mark paid action if it isn’t yet.

Choose + New Bill to open the add-bill drawer. A bill carries its name, an optional vendor and category, the recurring amount, the due day of the month (1–31), and the effective start date the bill begins from. Choose Save Bill to record it. Editing an existing bill works the same way — the details open in the drawer for you to change and save.

When you’ve paid a bill for the month, choose Mark paid on its row. The row then shows a Paid marker for that month, so at a glance you can tell what’s been handled and what’s still outstanding. Each month is tracked on its own — marking this month paid doesn’t affect next month, and the bill keeps recurring on its schedule. Marking a month paid is safe to repeat; it won’t double-record.

The Monthly Bills screen shows only your own workspace’s bills, and the figures reflect what your team has entered. If the list looks empty, it usually just means no recurring bills have been added yet; it fills in as you add them.
